Throwback to 2004
Our very first consultancy project with Punjab State Electricity Board, Ludhiana, marked a turning point – a 16/20 MVA, 66/11 kV ECE Make Power Transformer was showing low insulation resistance and poor PI values.

Improve the HV-E PI value to 1.5

Remove moisture without heating and without taking the transformer offline
➡️ Solution
Deploy PTss’s Online Transformer Dryout System on both the main tank and OLTC tank, while the transformer remained energized
