The equipment comes built in with TIMES(Transformer Insulation Moisture Estimation System) module which determines
- Relative saturation of Moisture in Oil
- Temperature of Oil
- PPM in Oil
- Estimation of % M/DWI (Percentage of Moisture to Dry weight of Insulation)
With the above parameters constantly monitored saturation of Media used and the Level of moisture inside the transformer (in Oil and In insulation) is known instantly. Once the % M/DWI is know and this is within a safe limit on a sustained basis for a given KV class of a transformer we can deem that the end point has been achieved.
